HidrOZONE - Technologies employed
HidrOZONE recycled water treatment plants use two treatments mainly:
  • Filtration with disc filters, the most part of the solids from water with higher size to 100 µm are retained in the filtering element before the water moves to the outlet manifold. Cleaning is done automatically with water filtered by the rest of the filters introduces itself to the filter at the opposite direction.
  • Ozone disinfection, gaseous compound formed by three oxygen atoms (O3), generated by passing a high concentration of oxygen through an electric spark. Ozone is a powerful oxidant with this characteristics:
    • Effectively eliminates any pathogens without altering the composition of water.
    • Improves smell, color and turbidity of water.
    • Decreases the amount of organic matter (BOD and COD) in water.
    • Remove large quantities of dangerous substances (detergents, pesticides, etc.)
Unlike other systems, HidrOZONE plants, allow continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of disinfection by regulating the oxidation potential of water supplied..
