The increasing scarcity and cost of water becomes ever more necessary to use techniques of reuse allowing an efficient and environmentally friendly use of water. The water recycling system in addition to rainwater harvesting, are to:
- Reuse of treated water: urban and industrial wastewater, once wastewaters have been treated appropriately, can be reused for a new agricultural, urban, industrial, recreational or environmental use.
- Reuse of industrial process water: water used in industrial processes, can be treated before discharging to reuse it at the same industrial process.
- Water reuse for irrigation: water from hydroponic irrigation systems can be reused in fertigation systems, avoid polluting discharges and significantly reducing the cost of water and fertilizers.
