HidroTAR - Technologies employed

Technologies used at High quality purification plants,  HidroTAR:

  • Ultrafiltration membranes, to ensure a filtration and disinfection of the water supply network safe, removing suspended impurities, colloids and all type of pathogens. Cleaning is done with permeate automatically at the opposite direction to the filtrate flow.
  • Electronic water softener, which generates an electromagnetic field that changes the adhesive strength of calcium carbonate (neutralizes its effect during 50–100 h), so as to avoid scale in pipes and appliances. Discomposes embedded lime and protects the installation of oxidation and corrosion.
  • Activated carbon filter, through a mineral micro porous activated carbon bed for adsorption of organic impurities that causes smell and taste of water.
  • Microfiltration filter, security filter at input and output of the plant to remove suspended particles higher than 5 µm.
