WATER from supply network must meet the quality standards with all guarantees for drinking water, established by health legislation, which does not exlcude that there are may be certain parameters to improve, like:
Low turbidity; for the presenece of small suspended solids, that can cause scale and corrosion problems in pipelines and facilites.
High concentration of calcium carbonate; in natural state (with high power of adhesion), that causes scale in pipelines and facilities .
Unpleasant taste and smell; water from supply network during treatment and distribution is usually subjected to a chlorination process that causes an unpleasant smell and taste to drinking water.
Bacteriological contamination (unusual);
due to a poor chlorination treatment, localized contamination in supply network or presence of pathogens resistant to chlorine, can lead to bacterial contamination of water supply.
